Overturn Privacy Policy

Effective July 27, 2026

The short version

Overturn has no accounts and no user database. Your cases, letters, and personal details live only on your device. We cannot see them, sell them, or lose them — we never have them.

What the app processes

When you scan a denial letter, the images (or PDF) are transmitted over an encrypted connection to our analysis service, which uses Anthropic's Claude API to read the letter and generate your analysis, interview questions, and appeal letter. This processing is transient: the images and generated text are returned to your device and are not stored on our servers. Your name, address, and phone number — if you enter them — are saved only on your device and are never transmitted to us.

What we don't do

No advertising, no trackers, no analytics SDKs, no selling of data, no accounts, no server-side storage of your letters or personal information.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Apple or Google and coordinated by RevenueCat. We receive only anonymous purchase records — never your payment details.

Data deletion

Because everything lives on your device, deleting the app (or clearing its data) deletes everything. There is nothing for us to erase on a server.
